Nora's "Hanji Box" Scouting Reel
On two separate research trips to Korea, we scouted locations for each scene in the film. These are some of the images and sounds I recorded. When I returned to the US, they became a treasure trove and memory bank of images, both to help plan the shooting of the film and to inspire us and keep the project alive as we continue to develop the project. In it you will see some of the locations we hope to use, and the painter, Moon Bong Sun, whose amazing ink wash paintings we plan to use in the film
